Duluth’s Lakewalk follows Lake Superior from Canal Park to 60th Ave E. It is a paved path accessible to walkers, runners, bikers, inline skaters and skateboarders. There are benches along the path where visitors can stop and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Superior and its traveling vessels. If you plan on biking, consider starting at 27th Ave E and traveling East to 60th Ave in Duluth’s Lakeside neighborhood. The path on the East end is newer and usually not as busy with walkers. If you’re looking for a nice walk or run, the Canal Park segment of the path is a good option, it has some of the best views of the lake as well as shops and restaurants along the way.
