Superior Whitewater Rafting
- Rates: $40/person
- Introduction: Superior Whitewater Rafting is located on the St. Louis River near Jay Cooke State Park. Rafting trips are 2 1/2 hours. Trips of up to 52 people can be accommodated. Any combination of 4 to 6 people can share a raft, if your group is smaller than 4 people you will be paired with other parties. No experience is necessary but you must be fit and and in goof mental health.
- Who can go rafting: you cannot be pregnant, you must be in good health and physical fit be 12 years of age or older, be intellectually sharp and emotionally mature, able to hear well and thoroughly understand the English language, arrive sober and drug free (and remain so throughout the trip), be able to indeoendently take care of yourself. - What to bring: a complete dry change of clothes, footwear (no slip-ons), snug eyeglasses with straps (straps sold at outfitter), shorts and a sleeved t-shirt (no tank tops or bathing suit tops), rainwear or windbreaker, synthetic clothing (fleece, lycra, rayon, wool, etc.) in case of poor weather, large trash bag to use as an impromptu wind breaker or to store wet clothing, suntan lotion and a towel.
